Browse: Time:2018-11-03
At the age of 72, Wang Lao Tai lived in Yinzhou District, Ningbo. There was a river on the doorway. The old man often washed vegetables by the river. The old man didn't expect to wash his vegetables for the most part of his life by the river, but this time he was almost killed.
Went to the riverside to wash the dishes, and the left leg quickly fester.
A week ago, Mrs. Wang went to the river to wash vegetables in her newly bought slippers. The new slippers pinched her feet. The back of her left foot was pinched with a small piece of skin. It was a little painful. It is common for a new pair of shoes to break the skin. In the evening, she felt more and more pain on her left foot and a big blister on the location of the wound. Old Mrs. Wang felt that something was wrong. Early the next morning, accompanied by her family, she went to Yinzhou People's Hospital to see a doctor in the Department of Vascular Surgery.
At that time, Mrs. Wang's skin on the back of her left foot had turned black, and the wound had spread to her left leg, and many blood vesicles had appeared. After the blood vesicles were removed, the naked eye could see that the thin skin was covered with ulcerated tissue. Even more terrible was that in a few minutes, Mrs. Wang appeared confused, only 70/45 (millimeter mercury column) of blood pressure was measured, and was immediately sent to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital for rescue.
According to Dr. Ouyang Lizhi of ICU, when Mrs. Wang was sent to ICU, she had septic shock. She was immediately given symptomatic treatment such as fluid replacement, dilatation and anti-infection. However, her blood pressure was still very low, and she had symptoms such as acute respiratory distress syndrome and acute renal failure.
"It took less than 24 hours for the patient to get worse from a pinch injury on the left dorsum of his foot, and his condition developed rapidly and amazingly." Ouyang immediately asked the director of the division, Zhou Chengjie, and reported to his superiors. After receiving the call, Zhang Yi, the head of the medical department of the hospital, quickly convened experts from relevant departments to discuss difficult cases and solicited the opinions of patients'families on amputation or limb salvage. The family members of the patients unanimously requested limb salvage.
Fortunately, the hospital's laboratory doctor found out the culprit through blood vesicle culture. It turned out that Mrs. Wang was infected with Aeromonas hydrophila. After the full treatment of the hospital's medical staff, Mrs. Wang finally saved her left leg and is now out of danger.
The mortality rate of Aeromonas hydrophila is 70%.
"I have seen several cases of marine Vibrio vulnificus infection before, and Aeromonas hydrophila infection is the first encounter." Ouyang Lizhi said that Aeromonas hydrophila is a kind of Vibrio, which has strong pathogenicity and can cause multiple organ failure in a short time.
According to the relevant literature, Aeromonas hydrophila is widely distributed in various natural waters, is the primary pathogen of many aquatic animals, and is a typical pathogen of human, animal and fish co-morbidity. Diseases infected by Aeromonas hydrophila are generally more serious, mostly malignant infectious diseases, with a mortality rate of up to 70%.
Patients with liver disease, diabetes and other immune problems are at high risk. The strain can be propagated at temperatures ranging from 14 to 40.5 degrees, and the best temperature is 28 to 30.
